There are many benefits to being a member of the the Blind Manufacturers' Association of Australia (BMAA). Some of the benefits include:

• Product and technical information - on matters that relate to the industry may be sourced anytime through the association.
• Safety issues and representation - BMAA discusses safety and other relevant issues with government departments.
• Standards - representation on Standards Australia committees.
• Promotion - use of BMAA logo, membership certificate, code of ethics, coloured window/car decals.
• Meetings - regular meetings enable members to attend and put forward their views on matters of concern.
• Mediation - mediation/arbitration service in the case of any product-related disputes between members and customers.
